We’re committed to our mission of finding new treatments that may help improve the lives of people with cancer. We perform these trials to see if they can help prevent or treat cancer.
Lung cancer occurs when cells inside the lung grow abnormally. As more cells grow, they start to form a tumour and may spread to other areas in the body. There are two main types of lung cancer:
- Non-small cell lung cancers (NSCLC); about 80% to 85%
- Small cell lung cancer (SCLC); about 10% to 15%
There is a lot to consider when deciding whether to participate in a clinical trial. Any clinical trial includes risks which the study doctor will review with you. Make sure you understand the risks before participating. Information populated in the search results comes from an external source.
